FlexClad-250™ is a self-adhering, sheet-type protective membrane. On top is an embossed, UV resistant aluminum weathering surface. Under the aluminum is a double layer of tough, high density polyethylenereinforcement. Under the polyethylene is a niform layer ofaggressive rubberized asphalt adhesive which sticks directly tometal, insulation facers and most other clean, dry surfaces.The self-adhesive surface is protected by a disposable releasepaper.
RECOMMENDED USES Designed specifically to protect ductwork, apply FlexClad-250over rigid board insulation, cold pipes, plenums and storagetanks. The product weatherproofs, resists water leaks andvapor transmission, preserves the efficiency of thermalinsulation and reflects sunlight to reduce interior temperatures.The FlexClad-250 jacket is designed for exterior or interior useand it may be used in direct burial applications.
