This is the Bachmann brand, HO scale (1:87) Thomas Tank Engine Deluxe Lighthouse with Blinking Light (Bachmann stock number 45240). It is pre-built, made of plastic and it is brand new and in the manufacturer's original packaging.
The red and white colored Lighthouse measures:
* approximately 9-inches (22.5cm) tall.
* 1.25-inches (3.125cm) in diameter at the bottom near the base
* and tapers to 1-inch at the top measured just under the catwalk below the light.
* The base measures 2.25-inches (5.625cm) from front to back and 2-inches (5cm) wide.
The Lighthouse is pre-wired and the light at the top fades on and off for a realistic effect when connected to a standard 14-16volt AC railroad accessory power connection. (Required for operation)
Even though it is part of Bachmann's Thomas the Tank Engine line of products, there are no city markings on it so it could easily be used on any layout.
