New Selco CA115 Temperature Controlled Switch
This is a new temperature controlled switch made by Selco designed to control fans or blowers on any device with a heatsink. The switch screws on to any metal surface. It is open until the surface reaches 115 degrees F and then the switch closes. It can close a 110 AC or 12 volt DC circuit to turn on a blower or fan. When the surface cools off, the switch opens and the fan turns off. The switch is 5/8" diameter and the contacts will switch more than an amp of current. It is useful in any computer, amplifier, solar water heating system or other heat producing product. It is especially practical at remote sites were electricity is a problem - only run you fans when you need too. This is new surplus inventory from the Henry Radio Amplifier factory in Los Angeles, California. Shipping in the continental US is $5. International shipping will be quoted upon request.
