DirecLink is an electronic trailer brake controller that works with both electric drum brakes and electric-hydraulic actuators. DirecLink is a small network computer that links with your tow vehicle's computer network and utilizes that data so that the brakes of the truck and trailer work seamlessly together. Works with Ford, GM and Chrysler vehicles 1997 to present and Toyota and Nissan vehicles 2008 to present. The DirecLink NE (network enhanced) is designed to work in conjunction with Tuson's ActuLink electric-hydraulic actuators. When installed in combination, they form a two-way digital network between the tow vehicle and trailer.
DirecLink NE has all the features of the base model of the DirecLink. DirecLink NE is designed to work in conjunction with the Tuson ActuLink electric-hydraulic actuator. When installed together, they form a two-way digital network between the towing vehicle and the trailer using the existing vehicle wiring. DirecLink NE monitors a wide variety of diagnostic parameters including electrical connections, trailer battery level - and when installed with the Tuson's ABS system it monitors trailer brake actuator brake fluid level and all aspects of the ABS system.DirecLink automatically syncs to your tow vehicle - just plug it in and let it do the configuration for you. With the easy set-up method, just raise or lower the level of trailer braking to your preference and you're ready to go. DirecLink can be installed without drilling holes in your dashboard and does not require directional mounting.
